💎 About Me

👋 Hello! Welcome to my site! My name is Yang (pronoun: she / her). I am a full-stack web developer, creative technologist wannabe, podcaster and feminist.

🌇 During my honours year, I self-taught HTML and CSS as a hobby. After I submitted my thesis, I realised how I enjoyed building programs and websites one step at a time and then seeing it work, so I decided to commit to a fulltime software engineering bootcamp at General Assembly. Fast-forward to the present, I am skilled at realising ideas as functional web applications, and I want to utilise my coding skills and sociological mind in my next adventure. I am inspired by progressive ideas, beautiful designs and ethical approaches. Some topics I am interested in: Interactive web development | Creative coding | Digital art | New media | Diaspora | Feminism | Cultural criticism.

👩‍💻 I am working at the University of Sydney as multimedia and frontend developer. I am also interested in freelance work and project collabroation. Let's have a coffee chat!
